I was told by the company that I bought Swap Magic 3.6 from that I can boot CD back-ups with the DVD boot disk. Anyone know if this is true? If so, then why have two disks? What problems could I run into if I don't have the CD boot disk (got scratched during shipping). Thanks in advance.

You can boot up cd backups with the dvd boot disk. They are the same disc (pretty much if one gets damaged you have the other).

i havent tried it but that doesnt make any sense to me...why would you ever use the CD? Im guessing the CD doesnt boot DVD...

Yes CD can boot DVD backups and DVD can boot CD backups. All you have to do to boot a dvd backup with Swap Magic CD version is refresh the TOC. Put in Swap Magic Cd version then when the screen is at "load program" just "eject" it and put in a big in size PS2 original game. Then when it says "load program" just use either your slide card or flip top to swap it with your backup and press X and the DVD game will boot.

Oh and to play a CD backup with Swap Magic DVD version you have to do the opposite!
