Can someone help me with backing up Fight Night 2 Round 2? I am having problems backing it up. I used DVD Decrypter, chose ISO Read, then ISO write, and did it at the lowest speed. I tried to load it up using Swap magic 3.6 and it wouldn't load up. First, it flashed a red screen then continued trying to read the game while it was an all black screen. And it stays that way. I used a Memorex DVD-R 8x 4.7GB

Am I doing anything wrong? Do I have to do something extra for this game or for EA sports games? Thanks

i have backed this game up with this same method...i would have to agree with 2kwic in his statement of the media being the problem...i prefer verbatim, fuji, maxell, and sony...although you could try reading it and burning it again...i have had games that i burned and at first would not load up, case in point...Katamari Damacy...i backed it up and the first time i put in my ps2 to try it out it would not load so i turned my ps2 off and restarted it loaded up Swap Magic 3.6..after prompting put in the backup and walla it booted up...this may be silly but try loading the game up a couple of more times before reading and burning another copy...

I don't think you can back-up Fight Night 2. EA sports prevents their games from being back-up. Thats why nobody has told you how to do it. Your doin it right, but it can't be backed up.

eh?

there is nothing special about this game, just a straight forward burn

as it is a ea game, you can try rebuilding it,using isobuster/nero method, see if that works for you,
but you shouldnt need to

if you burning at x1,sometimes thats to slow.....try x 4

Hursty, do you think the type of media that I am using is the problem (i.e. Memorex)? I tried burning it twice using the same method. I"m not sure the speed, but I'll be sure to try it at 4x.

Do I have to rebuild this game or should it be a normal back-up? Thanks

Rebuliding wont hurt but not necessary for this game if you do rebuild it still put it on another brand dvd-r. 1x 2x 4x is cool to burn. you backed it up right with DVD Decrypter but im telling you it might just be the Media. I got the game and play it everyday that's why i know what im talking about plus ask any body memorex is not the best brand to use with ps2 games.

Did you get the game to work? Did you change the media you were using? I still think the game is not able to be backed up. I have tried many times too.
