I receive this error when trying to Rip a DVD using DVD Decrypter.

InterfaceThread Runtime Exception!
Message = Out of System Resources

I rebooted the computer. It seems there are too many IFO files. I don't think it's my machine. Error is displayed by DVD Decrypter.

can you tell us your system specs?
CPU speed?
how much Ram do you have?
how much free hard drive space do you have?

Also, what movie is this and what version of Decrypter are you using?

I have 1 gig ram, P III, 60 free gb. It's not my system. I am using the most recent version of DVD Decrypter. It has a lot of ifo files (Hitch is the movie). It was the program that gave the error, not windows. I have seen this error before on a movie with a lot of ifo files too. Is there a limit? It had over 29 (That's when the error came up).

it's probably a copy protection thing. Check this thread out, it's a thread dedicated just to Hitch:

just curious when you are burning are you surfing the net at the same time or using a p2p file sharing application.

If you are dont. The file sharing app needs 100% of your resources to function at its best potential therefore if you you are burning at the same time you wont have enough system resources to accomodate both tasks.Your computer will allocate resources like 50% to burning and 50% for the p2p, which would leave you a bit short

rip just the movie with DDVD.
shrink with DVD Shrink and burn with DDVD or Nero.
The error is Sony copy protection..(anydvd also helps as long as you have the latest version)
