Interesting bit of news

The article mentions :

'Leading manufacturers of optical discs in Taiwan plan to raise quotations for DVD+R/-R discs by an average of 10% next quarter.'

Would one assume this also includes Japaneese Manufacturers eg Taiyo Yuden to raise prices?

Hmm, what exactly does quotations mean in this situaion? If quota is short for quotations, then I'm pretty sure they're not raising prices, but increasing production

Did u actually read the rest of it? Obviously you didn't since they mentioned in the article the price of optical disk grade Poly Carbonate has been hovering at record high levels an this is partially the reason for the 10% DVD-/+ R price increase.
