this forum keeps an advertisement for Game Copy Pro. Does anyone know if it is even good? Does, or has, anyone ever used it?

I have DVD Decrypter, and agree it's great. As a matter of fact, I almost bought Any DVD, then I took a look at DVD Decrypter, and there was no need for Any DVD (or me spending the $40- $50 for something I didn't need). But, if you didn't know already, "the man" shut it down. So, if they were aware it was there and shut it down, don't you think they will put in some new encoding that DVD Decrypter won't catch?

So, until then, I'm looking for it's next replacement.

Well I use Nero and DVD Decrypter and never had any problems except one time but it was the media.

serrano,

I agree, I only had a problem, but it was the software I used to play the disks was out dated. Upgraded it and gee golly, wouldn't ya know, the thing worked.

Until, or if, what I said earlier happens, it's decrypter, for me. And if it does, to let you in on the fact as I heard it, AnyDVD is in some country that can market their product without "big brother" stepping in and shutting them down. So, that might be the way to go, and something to keep in mind if/when it does happen.

Thanks for listening to me ramble - haha.

Maybe for movies, there will be new encoding, but DVD Decrypter will always work for ps2 games.

Good point. Then I don't have to worry about it.
