hi, i want to burn metal gear solid 3 snake eater, and i was just wondering, if there is anything i need to remove of the game first so that it goes on a DVD-5, and if there is how do i do it. many thanks.

nope the game is small as it is.

when metal gear 3 substance comes out tho most likely that will be a DVD-9.

Just burn ti using DVD Decrypter. And it should work.

dont post your email address otherwise you will be getting lots of email sent to you, not with heavy metal but spam or viruses

use the edit function to remove it

and yes i backed up MGS snake eater at 2.4x on DVD Decrypter worked no problems

think it was one of the first games i did :)

2.4x with dvd decrypter

i set it to burn at 1x, but did it burnt it at 2.4x

k, cuz i burnt mine at 1x and it skips slightly during the codec scenes or when theres a small video in the codec scene....also during those scenes, i hear my ps2 going crazy reading the disc...yours do that?

no, sounds like poor media if the video skips and its struggling to read it

what media is it? brand and type ie + or -

well i have 2 types

sony dvd-r
and Ritek dvd-r (both are -)

i was told sony was cheap media, and wa ssuggested the Ritek..

sony is good media...i use it to back my games up..i have some issues when using radio on MGS3...specially when saving..i get a disc in upper left corner and it is flashing with a question mark
