When I try to rip movies with Copyright guard , it starts to rip, then just sits there and does nothing, it chokes up. Trying to Rip National Treasure & Are We There Yet .. ? Anyone have any help.
I tried dvdfab express ripping for testing purposes the 2 discs of "farscape", only for trsting purposes. The trial version of AnyDVD (not the final as I suppose) is installed in my old p4/2ghz/512ram running xp pro (en version). The derived files were successfuly accepted from DVD Shrink (latest version).
I had the same result with dvddecrypter, which I also ripped for testing purposes only.
Hey Guys, I tried what you guys said. I tried running AnyDVD in the background, and used CloneDVD and DVD Fab Express and to no avail . Every time I tried to rip the DVD, it would get to about 45 % and just sit there, and stall and choke. It took 4 1/2 hours to finally get it to finish. When it was done, it said the VOB 4_1 was corrupt. It only does it with National Treasure & Are We There Yet. Anyone have any other help ? Let me know thanks. In the middle of the ripping it states that there are bad sectors could not read , etc. ?
I was rent National Treasure and I ripped it with DVDdecrypter and then shrinked with DVDshrink and finaly burned on a DVD RW with no problem. I suspect that maybe your disk is defective. Some times rental stores put a ring label in the opposite site of the disk whick steals useful info, may be this is your case. By now my ripped dvd of national treasure has been erased.
What's up.. I had same problem.. What I did is use DVD Decryptor to rip movie.. Then used DVD Shrink to burn movie..It called upon Nero to burn.. No problem from there... I downloaded from www.mrbass.org
It even gives you instructions!!
