I am new to dvd burning. I want to know how to get rid of all dvd data saved to my hard drive after a burn. i use dvd shrink in conjunction with nero. When i finished copying casino today I erased all of the files from the target folder. however later when I tried to make another back up copy, the comjputer instantly recognized that casino was in the drive. I didn't even have to press "OPEN DISK." obviously the computer is saving info from the disks long after I am done backing it up. where are these files stored?

this is a DVD Shrink directory that stores that info so it speeds up dealing with that disc in future. - answer is here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/201310

they should be in c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\dvd shrink.

i just thought, maybe it's that the 'application data' folder is hidden. If so, by far the easiest way would be to go to c:\documents and settings\all users in windows explorer, then type application data onto the end of the pathname in the 'address' box...
