Hey, Im Jules, been reading these forums ever since I started burning stuff, always found help for problems with PS2 games ect here, so thanks.

Anyway, I been noticing that in my Verbatim 25pk spindles the last 5 DVDs really suck, they rarely work on backups, and the disk is prone to disk errors. I saw a huge difference when using my other 25pk. Has anyone have had similar problem, or is it some obvious newbie thing?

Well I haven't really gotten to the bottom of my Verbatim Spindle, but I have with my 50 pack of Ritek G05s, and only had one coaster out of the whole spindle. Maybe you got a bad batch of Verbatims? How did the ink look on the last 5 discs before u burned them?

I had a 25 pack of the Verb DVD-R 16x and one disc was bad out of the entire pack. Not sure where in the stack it was. I think it was near the bottom. I could see a faint, thin circle around the burn side of the disc. Movie would freeze and stop playing. Had a similar problem w/ Maxell DVD-R yellow tops. I seemed to have problems with the last few discs in that stack. So far, from my 100 pk of TY's I've only had one bad disc (again, near the bottom). Went through about 80 or so good burns before I ran into that one. It actually said the disc was full. Not sure how that happens when it hasn't been burned.
