k well I find this forum a lot of times for burning probs and it's helped me with most of my problems cept for two of them..
Burning ISO - I found a post on this forum once about how to burn games...use DVD Decrypter to read the iso/mds file, use DVD Decrypter to burn the MDS File, works perfectly everytime I do that. Cept when I get only an iso file (no mds), when I try to to burn it with DVD Decrypter, it doesn't work (1/4 games I tried burning the iso when I dont get the mds file worked, the other 3 didnt), so I dont know how to back-up a game by just burning an iso. Someone told me to use Nero with sum ISO crap but I dunno how to get to it and I dont wanna mess up cause I've wasted a lotta DVD Discs as it is. Anyone can help with that??
Editing Smackdown! VS Raw - I found a page somewhere on google about how to edit the music in the Smackdown Vs Raw Game. From what Ive heard, it should work perfectly and I have all the programs for it. The instructions (in short) are extract the adxs, edit the wav files in the adxs to the songs you want on the same times, save it all over and burn that. The thing is..it ends up like an iso again and 1. Thats the problem I had in the first paragraph, 2. Even if theres an MDS file from when I rip, I cant burn it to be the edited version because it has the image info on the original iso.
So pretty much all this BS I need help with is because of the damn ISOs...Can anyone help? Thanks a shitload.
Well i have never heard of DVD Decrypter only giving an ISO. There must be a setting somewhere either with the burner or the program that is wrong. I have used it for years and always get both an MDS and ISO.
But if you want to try Nero to burn the ISO:

If i remember correctly all you have to do is open Nero Smartstart, or startsmart i forget which it is called. Choose the DVD tab, go through the options until you see one with a picture of a disc on fire that says burn image. Then use it. After you select your image to burn and the options come up make sure you choose a good burning speed and then burn it. It will do ISO files.
As far as the music changing, once you do it, then create a new ISO out of the files you edited, you can use the same method.
But i know many people who will say that you can burn the ISO with DVD Decrypter.
That could all be in the discs you use, if you use cheap discs you may have problems getting games to work all the time.
Okay the Regular ISO files worked with Nero Burning thanks for that. But on the editing music, I still don't know why it won't work. I did the whole process over, made a new ISO (Nero Image Recorder) out of the new Smackdown VS Raw files, and burned that ISO with Nero UDF/ISO Version AND DVD Decrypter on the slowest speed and it won't work. I heard it could also be the DVD Disc problems (I used DVD+Rs) but I don't know why the modified version wouldn't work on a +R when the regular ripped then burned version worked on a +R.
Also, I did buy a DVD-RW to see if that would work but the disc speed says 1x-2x and whenever I try to burn the SVR ISO file with Nero to the DVD-RW, I can't change the speed (its on 6x, and when I click on it cause it's a drop-down thing, it only has 6x) and I know I need to change it to 1x-2x but it doesn't let me change it on Nero and in DVD Decrypter when I change it to 2x it still doesn't work :(. I need help.
easy solution, don't use RW discs
They are more expensive and i do not think they will work as well as regular -R or +R
How many times do you actually thing you will want to write over one of you games anyway?

I made the custom music Smackdown VS Raw into an ISO and burned with DVD Decrypter, game works (loading was a lil bit slower but dont mind) but everytime the custom music is about to play (like during a match a song ends and the custom is about to beginning) the game freezes. And usually when games freeze I check to hear my PS2 to see if the laser is struggling to read the disc and nope. Was a quiet motor like it was reading the game normally but it froze. Any suggestions? If not I understand cause burning custom shit isn't really under forum topic but just incase anyone knows I wanna know too lol. But ya if not anything thanks a lot for the help.
