I'm new to the forums here and wasn't sure if this was the right place to ask this question. I saw a few other posts about decrypter so here goes. Sorry if I'm in the wrong spot but hopefully someone can help me. I have been using decrypter for a while now and just today I got this error message while trying to burn Chappelle's show Disc 3. I also tried burning one of my own homemade DVDs and got the same problem. It won't go past writing the lead-in and then it fails. I am posting the log so you can see what it is doing. Please any help would be appreciated. I am using Verbatim 8x DVD-R discs and have been using them for a while now. I don;t know if it is the disc, the program, or the drive. Please help - Thanks.

slow the speed down on burning,sounds like a bad disc.

If slowing the burn speed down doesn't help you may also want to try reinstalling Decrypter and/or uninstalling the drive through Device Manager.


If none of that helps you may want to update to the newest firmware for your drive - yours is about four revisions behind.

ok - I slowed it down and it worked fine. Got 100% complete. But when I tried to play it in my DVD player I get an error saying "Not NTSC". This hasn't happened with any of my other DVDs. Any idea why?

Sounds like the disc is in PAL format - where'd you get it?

its actually a disc of music videos that I made myself. I converted all the files with VSO DivxToDVD and used DVD-Shrink to compress them.
