HD Advance exploit and imports, please help!

I am thinking about picking up a few import games for my PS2. However, I don't have a mod-chip. I am using Keyloader to run HDAdvance. What I want to know is will this work?

Turn on PS2 with PS1 disc to bring up the menu for KeyLoader.
Eject PS1 disc and insert import disc to be converted.
Hit X to load HDAdvance
choose COnvert, then hit OK. Since the disc is already in the drive, a Slide Card shouldn't be necessary, right?

Ejecting it will not work, Ps2 DVD?s are pressed with a code on them so the ps2 can read them and make sure there real, even thou the imports are real they still won't work coz they have been programmed to work on either a PAL or NTSC sadly not both, best option is WinHIP, you could get it to work if you had a fliptop or slide card.

What if I used a slide card to open the drive rather than ejecting the disc. Would it work then?

Yeah that will work but make sure you press the eject and put a real ps2 game in b4 you swap it for the import.
