Dave, what version of swap magic do you have you got, because I heard it was pointless with the newer versions (3.0+)

I have 2.0... really old, but never had really any problems with it... other than Tekken 5 doing Devil Within.

Thanks Dave, I'll try that out tomorrow. Argh, it's so annoying to have a problem with a game that's supposed to work flawlessly.
>_> the DVDloader iso is kept on ps2nfo's forum, which requires a "non-free email" in order to register.

I got Destroy All Humans.
I cant get past the copyright information screen, I did leave it runing and after about 15 minutes it played the THQ logo.
I'm using a V.5 PS2 and Swap Magic 3.6
I bought the game from an import website, and I do not have the equipment to copy it.
What else should I try and do?

serole - what version of PS2 do you have? I have a ver 3 that plays a backup (DVD decrypter method) just fine. My ver 7 freezes on the opening screen of the same copy.

where did you guys download Destroy all Humans? Because my video rental store is out of copies. I did manage to rent one about a week ago, and I tried Alcohol 120% and DVD Decrypter (both at the slowest speed possible) and niether of them worked, they both froze at the first screen. I tried again with Alcohol 120% on a rewritable DVD at that didn't even get to the opening screen! I'm using swap magic 3.3 discs, TDK media, and ps2 v. 7. What am I doing wrong?!

Are you using a Flip Top or Slide Card?
If you're using a Flip Top leave the lid open ... It's the only way I could get it to work without it freezing studdering or anything....
I've also burnt with Alcohol 120% and Decrypter and get the same results.. But I guess if I have to leave the lid open to play it... oh Well :)

Ok So Far I seem to have fixed the Studdering and freezing game problem so I can now shut the lid...
What I did was I replaced the plastic White Disc in the cover with the orginal PS2 disc and it works fine so far now....
No Studdering or freezing

In order to stop the studdering and to help from having to have the flip top open... I ended up having to do the Laser Tweak/Fix if anyone is still having problems with their backup freezing or studdering I would highly recomend it...
