Hi, I've never posted in a forum b4, so if i did it wrong, I'm sorry. I would like to backup all my games (about 20) onto my ps2, so i dont have to use the disk (my son scratches them). In the version section, it says scph-50001/browser 1.40. I am not very computer literate and I do not yet have a hard drive. where do i find one, and what else do i need? Also, I don't want to spend a lot of $$ and am afraid to soldier on the board.

you can use a standard pc hard drive, will need to be quite big to fit 20 games on. maxtor are the best for the ps2

you will need a network adapter, which the hard drive connects to, which fits in the expansion bay at the back of the ps2

you will also need a operating system for the hard drive, either HD loader or hd advance

hd loader is free, but if your not sure on what your doing then you could just buy HD advance

oh and i forgot, no soldering is needed :)

if you want to put copies onto the hard drive, you will need a mod, like swap magic with a fliptop or slide card, or a mod chip
