Hello.

I have an MP4 file.

I would like to convert it to files that can be burned to DVD.

How?

What piece(s) of software should be used and / or is there a good guide somewhere?

If you want something easy, VSO's DivXtoDVD should work.
Otherwise you could try remuxing to AVI first or converting via dshow, assuming that you can play it back via dshow.

Yes this method does work but unless you pay a registraion fee you will have the programs web address processesed into the final DVDR, i know you could probably use http:\\www.serials.ws to get a code but these do not always work. I looked on there and didn't have a code!
