DVDD should work on RE 2 if you're using the latest version. The program was updated since that copy protection came out. Haven't tried other one but you may want to dl AnyDVD (free 21 trial period) - it's also been updated several x's to handle the copy protections especially those found in the other regions.
What error message are you receiving?
