Hello,

Iam trying to burn Conker Live & Reloaded on a dvd, but the game is simply to big....
I did read something about deleting a dashupdate file, but i dont know how to do that...
Is there a easier solution? Or can somebody tell me how to remove this file(s)?

ThnX Michel...

if the game is already a iso image you need to extract the iso on your pc, this will extract all the folders of the game...then just go into the main folder and delete the dashupdate.xbe...then create a new iso image of the game, and burn.

it isn't hard.

It's really great somebody want's to help!
But the problem is , there are no dashupdate.xbe files in the main folder...
Only 86 px-conk files and px-conk.nfo/ px-conk.sfv / torrentparadise.nfo and that's it...

When i typ .xbe by search, there are no results shown...

those are .rar files...you need to extract the .rar file to get the iso...once you get the iso, you will need to extract the iso.

I know what you mean, i did this many times before, but this are no rar files...
But i do unpack the files (px-conk) with winrar, and then it is an iso but i can't extract that iso...
Then a window pop up and say: No archives found...??? :(

delete the following in the game;

-dashupdate.xbe
-update.xbe

then you will have to go into the game to the following directory

Conker Live and Reloaded/dvddata/aid/text/

here you will see some languages,I only kept the folders

English and LanguageAgnostic.

After doing this, the image should be about 4.36 gigs and will fit onto a DVD5.

if have it in xISO format, use quix or craxtion to extract it. Then follow the directions. If it's on your hard drive it will already be extracted and all you would have to do is either use a file manager on you xbox or an ftp program on your pc to get to the files. Then make your xISO and burn it.

pniceman, it really isn't that difficult.

1) Extract the Conkers ISO into a Folder.

2) Go into the Text folder and delete everything except the English and LanguageAgnostic.

3) Then use Qwix, Craxtion or any other program of that sort to create that game folder into an ISO again. Burn that ISO and your done...
