hello im trying to convert my avi files into files that will play on a dvd player

i followed the long guide on this page that invlolved using different programs and burning with nero but the end dvd didnt work

ive tried converting them with nero express movie maker but they always failed right at the end before the burning started

can anyone help me

my brother uses Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5 version. There's this utility called DVD Builder. It's real simple to use the end result is real nice. Try it out!

Another guide using divxtodvd, do not know how good it is. Just tried the comcast link and it works fine.

DVD2SVCD is a frontend for many programs so it'll do it all in a few steps for you.

Quality varies, you can use 3 or 4 different encoders, including CCE SP, an expensive but excellent quality solution.
