i downloaded both as a torrent file. i believe they were both pal versions. they work good but they are missing like 1/4 of the screen. i don't understand. i tried to switch from nstc and pal option on my swap magic 3.6 everything flips except for ntsc. any suggestions?

if they are PAL then when you play them on an NTSC system, even with Swap Magic, some of the bottom of the screen is always missing. Some dowloads are just like that. Some you set on NTSC to work, Some on PAL
And if you find a good place to get them you can leave it on normal
Downloads are like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get :)

Only real soloutions is a good mod chip. Then no screen will be cut off.
