I have a small DVD file that a local news station sent us of an interview with my daughter. I am unfamilar with typical DVD folder structures but I understand that this application will help me convert this into a more portable MPEG or Windows media file.
It comes up and recognizes my DVD player and finds several files.
When I choose a destination and click on the decrypt icon it processes for about 1 min and all I get in the destination is the same several files. A 144MB VOB and several very small IFO and VUB files. Is this suposed to be maybe a 2 or more step process? Did it work correctly ? What am I missing?
Thanks for any help.

Ok

by what u just described DVD Decrypter worked fine.

All that program does is put the file on to ur hard drive.

for you to put it on to a Blank DVD to play on ur DVD player

U have to take the file to a burner program and burnit like u doo with a blank CD

The program that i burn my DVD files straight from my hard Drive is Clone DVD

u can get a trail version from this site ( i recommend u purchassin this program with AnyDVD

AnyDVD breaks regional code restriction and Decrypter just breaks all protection.

They can b downloaded here

Decrypter copies DVDs in the original DVD compliant format (i.e. with Audio_TS and Video_TS folders, and ifo, VOB files). So if you want to convert the DVD into mpeg, AVI, or WMV, you need to use another program like ImToo DVD Ripper. It's a commercial product, but seems to have a trial period. Try here:

Good luck!
