Could someone please tell me how to distinguish what version my PS2 is? V1, V2, V3 etc etc? Is it by my serial no. Cuz i looked for the version on the back of the ps2 and i cant seem to find anything. Thanks very much:)

You can do 2 things look on the back or Turn your ps2 on without a game and hit triangle it will tell you what version you have SCPH-***** and go to www.chipzone.com to see. To become a Member you just have to continue to use the site i been here just about a year.

I know how it goes. Well if you look at what i wrote then i just said the sam thing without the numbers i said CONTINUE to use the site and all i said is that i been here for about a year i didn't say hey man you have to be here for a year to become a member. calm down man, I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just saying it how it is. It takes every user a different amount of time to become members based on how frequently they post. I've seen one person go from newbie to senior in a month flat. I was just pointing out the actual numbers required to move up.
