i found an easier way to get music onto your PSP!!!

you need a web browser and e-mail (on your PSP and a computer) all you do is convert the files on your computer (or search for them on the net on your PSP) and e-mail them to yourself, and save it to your PSP! a great place to find music is windowsmedia.com/mediaguide/music! this is really easy and you can do it at anytime with your PSP! that's what i did since i have no XP computer.

i have a question as well. how much are the memory sticks for PSP's, like 256 meg- i need a bigger one.

OK so I'm pretty new here, and to my PSP. I followed all the other directions and got as far as the getting to the PSP file, but I can't seem to make a new file and I don't seem to be seeing a SAVEDATA file. When I tried to drag songs into the file, a message keeps popping up saying that I need to specify the correct file and the file name. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. I'd really appreciate the help.

jeykim first format your memory stick withen the psp, by the far left in the menu, then try to do it again, and open the psp folder, it should automatically be there,, all of them, if it isnt, make it "MUSIC" and "PHOTO" exactly, reply back

Easkater Make sure they are in the right format, for example, version 1.5 can only play mp3s and atrc plus, 2.00 can play WMV and others, make sure it is in mp3 format, just to be sure, and the photos in jpeg. reply back

Open up a paint program and open the picture you want to be converted, then click save as and look for format, and if there is nothing, just type .jpg at the end of its name. The word . and the windows thing, , im not sure, what exactly are you talking about

i doubt the windows will work,, unless you have version 2.00 and emus and roms, unless you have 1.5 , you wont be able to run anything on it,, 2.0 also has some hacks, but not nearly as much as 1.5

ok to both of you guys,, make sure they are in mp3 format,, to change to mp3 format, the only way i can really give good directions on is musicmatch juke box,, what you do is hit record option, and change it to mp3, then hit record, then put in the cd,, make sure it is set to record from your cd drive, then it should start recording, and save it to your "My Music" files under the start menu on windows xp. from there, try it again.

Yes, I can see the images in the PHOTO file, and it is in jpeg format. Is it my pelican USB cable or not, because the first time I trasnfer files from my pc to my psp it worked but now it doesn't?

My version is, 2.00 but I did not format my memory stick yet, and why would I have to anyway?
