formating your memory stick cleans everything off of it, and makes it so it will work with your psp, it should automatically but sometimes it wont,, it also adds the folderes needed to add images and music,

i dont think you can set a jpeg as a background, i think it has to be a bit map.

Yes, you can set these jpeg images as a background if you have version 2.00.

hey ya'll, i finally got my new psp and i already have the cable for connecting it on the comp, but for some reason, when i click the My Computer folder, nuttin shows up about a "removable disk" folder! Where can i find this folder? it seems like i cant find it no where! PLZ HELP!!!

On your psp, go to the far right, and click , "Format Memory stick" and then try looking for it in your "my computer" BUT!!! this will delete all your saved game savings thingys..

I hav'nt read all of this but is it possible to put your Memory Stick Duo into a card slot on your PC because my HP at my dads house has several different size/shape card slots IS THIS POSSIBLE??

The only way you can find out, is trying it, so next time youre there, just take out your memory stick in your psp. and try to fit it in, DONT JAM it in, just lightly see if you can slide it in, and it click,

This is all great help, thanmks for the tips, but i want to know how to get video files on my psp. I have MPEG / mp4 files but i don't know where to put them on my mem-card... can anybody help please?

when inside the "PSP" fodler, create a folder and name it "MOVIES" put all the video files inside the "MOVIES" folder.

i would just like to say that i see people are having trouble with not being able to find the removable disk drive. that happened to me. what you do is if you are using the usb cable you turn on the psp with the cable in, go all the way to the left with the settings list and go to usb connection or it wont show a new drive in your my computer

i have tried making a folder called 'MOVIES' and when i went to play it on my psp it said 'there are no videos'. so i tried making the following folders alltogether...
MOVIE
MOVIES
VIDEO
VIDEOS
am i putting them in the correct place?
E:\PSP\MOVIES
as i brought a 1GB mem card with my psp and it had no folders on it, so i creating them from scratch. I have had no trouble with my mp3 folders or my photo folders, it seems to be just the movie files.
Thanks for your help.

hmmmm, well, save everything on your memory stick on to the desktop, and then go on your psp menu, and hit format memory stick, then connect again, and try putting everything on it again.
