lol, no wonder... ok first get an application which converts the video to a format that the psp understands (mostly MP4- MPEG-4)

I recommend this one (cause it's free)

http://www.pqdvd.com/psp/video_converter.html

EDIT

use this guide...

http://www.engadget.com/2004/12/21/how-t...ation-portable/

Need anymore help, just ask ;)

If your running V2.00 or higher, encode to MPEG4-AVC file name for which is MAQxxxxx.MP4.
Much better than MPEG4-SP.
PQ-DVD aint that great of encoding software, try XVID4PSP.

Hey guys.

I have a problem transfering music PC-PSP.
C, the problem is that since i gpot my psp i used to transfre music, photos, videos and stuff. But suddenly one day the computer automatically updated the WMP(Windows Media Player) and everything was still cool (with the PC).
But when I wanted to transfer music to my PSP (via USB)the copying bar took like 10 seconds longer (than its usual 3-5 secs maybe less) and suddenly the copy file bar ended as if it already finished. And I looked for the song and there it was but the PSP USB conection was lost as if someone would´ve yanked out the usb cable, and then when I looked for the song to play it back, it played but when 13 secónds or so have passed it gets kinda like scrambled with some other songs that I have there and if I stop the playback and try to play it back again it says file corrupted and I´ve checked it out, and it´s an mp3 file very well downloaded. And to transfer the same mp3 file to my psp I have to go to another pc. Odd isnt it ?!?!?!

Plz help me out thanx.

Back again from a looooong time ago. I found some software recently, called PSPWare... It's supposed to "sync music, videos, etc.". What does that mean, and wil thsi software allow me to transfer music to my PSP with my Win2000 computer?

It uses ITunes to do it, so you may have to install that as well.
Its simple to do, just drag an drop your music files into the MUSIC folder.

But PSP's are not compatible with windows 2000. What I'm asking is, will this software make it? I've been told multiple times (and trid for myself unsucessfully) that it won't work- only with XP.

Go to system settings and format memory stick.
Read your manual, tells you the basics

First off an easier way to do this would be to first Format the memory stick from the PSP then attach it to the computer then get into the psp folder and all of the folders are already there for you :D

And to download music ... i mean evaluate use a p2p program such as ARES but i recommend this or use torrents however do not use lime wire their are way too many chances of getting a virus, however i do not i repeat DO NOT ENCOURAGE STEALING MUSIC FROM ONLINE
