i wasn't doubting your claims, just wanted to know WHERE in the U.S. you got those dreaded CMC MAGs under the Maxell label~ :) but you've cleared that up pretty well, minus the inclusion of WHICH STATE are ya in? i don't frequent Wal-mart here in CA, there are a few further south of me, but it's a much further drive than my local BestBuys, Staples, etc...

just curious as to where in the U.S. you are located...so if i'm ever in those neck of the woods, i'll remember to stay away from the Maxell's you mentioned~ :)

cmax420- Listen to KKivory666 -AKA Doc Ty & Saugmon They're good people & really are Trying to help their fellow afterdawn.com members ! And on the Inkjet printable issue among the places mentioned to find some Walmart was named - I happened to buy some Accidentally Even on Black Friday ! They are were Maxell branded Made in Taiwzn Inkjet printable 8X DVD-R ( white Surface) I was price matching a sale at OFFICEDEPOT on MAXELL 8x DVD+R & DVD-R 25ct. Spindles of media for $ 4.99 ea. + tax and grabbed the Inkjet maxells by mistake ! Walmart gave them to me @ the sale price ! The other Maxells all coded out as Riteks Which is what I expected but the Printables Code out as CMC ( CRAP!!!!) I did try a burn on 1 of these disc and it was truly garbage ! So as SAugmon said It would be best to Look for the Japanese Made MAEXELL DVD printable media if you are lloking for Printable maxells locally! Don't know what state you are in but here in louisiana I have found that Maxell Made in Japan Inkjet printable media is available at Rite-Aid drugstores ! Go figure ! It's worth a check if you have Rite-Aid's where your at & maybe check walmart too ! Hope this helps even if only in a small way - Live from the state of Confusion LOL! happy Burning & good luck !
