ok guys here's the deal. i use dvd santa to convert my avi files to dvd. it works great.my problem is, when i try and burn my converted project, it may burn one dvd, then it freezes and shuts down.(yes i have full version)so what i did was, burn one dvd with dvd santa, then i made a copy of it using nero6 basic. this opened a new can of worms, because the original copy that came from dvd santa will play on my home dvd player and my ps2 but the copy i made using nero only plays on my home dvd player WTF! my question is can i just convert my files with dvd santa and burn it using a program like 1click dvd? im this close to buying it,because all these review sites say its the best.also will my dvd still play on any dvd player if i convert and burn with dvd santa, then copy with one click.do i take my disc from dvd santa rip it with dvdcrypter then burn with one click...this sh** is driving me crazy i've been at this since thursday. can somenone please share their knowledge on this

hi

becareful i am not sure but there is an app called somwthing like 1 click that uses free apps they are behind a madeup GUI frontend, its a con...

ok first off dvd santa quailty is very sad, i wont use it as there are better out there, avi2dvd / film machine to mention 2 both take multiple avi in one go and are free! with built in encoders, but can also use CCE if you have it (must buy this one - CCE) but not needed i recommend HCEnc for avi2dvd app

now if i had a dvd already ripped and compressed (and i want a copy of a copy) i would use dvd decrypter on ISO READ then ISO WRITE another free app, brilliant for this.

you can even keep the iso to run more off, saves making an iso everytime...

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

I think there's a much easier way...... use DVDDecrypter to copy to hard drive then use DVDShrink....that's the easiest way..... and you can use Decrypter or Shrink to burn........ I don't use that way any more..... I use DVDDecrypter, then DVDRemake to take out unwanted stuff, then I use DVDREbuilder to shrink the movie down to a DVD5, and finally CopytoDVD to burn.

If you are having problems after burning the disk and it may/or may not work on standalone/computer....... the problem may or may not be your media. Check and see what works for you.
