hi is it possible to run a backup of codebreaker on a hdloader and is there anyother way of to run a burrned codebreaker on ps2 v9 i have swap magic i would like t oknow the tutriol ofr burning the files thanks.

what version of codebreaker is it? you could just do the MC exploit. i know that versions 4 and 7 can be converted into elf files to be run from the MC using the exploit.

that is true, but suppose your cd is scratched and doesnt read properly in your PS2 anymore. DRE, or Invalid disc keeps popping up. Launch from your exploit, then you dont have to worry about annoying li'l error messages. i know 4 and 7 work because i have done it. i know 8 doesnt work, and i havent tried 9 because i dont want to spend more money right now, but i dont think that one will work either.

to answer the original question, no, that'd be a waste of time because HDL wont save codebreaker to hdd, and you'd still need a retail HDL, or patched updated HDL burned to cd-r, just to get back to the game list. my suggestion is to find a CB7 cd and copy the files to your MC (or hdd) using the exploit. it'll be tons easier.
