Hey, i am looking for a video editing software that will let me put my videos that i have on the pc (such as my window media player videos and quicktime videos) onto a dvd so i can play it on my tv. i would also like the feature for it to be able to get the video from my minidv camera. the only program that i have on the pc at the moment that has the ability to get files from my camera is windows movie maker. I would also like to maybe be able to chose the menus and backgrounds and chose were i want to insert the scene change. It dosent have to be a free download, or not a download at all, but it would be nice if it was a free download. Thanks!!!

So you want a Software Program that you can use to edit AVI/Mpeg/WMV/Mov ect files and be able to convert them to DVD Format and be able to author these Files to DVD with Menu"s and Chapters and also Be able to Transfer Video from your DV Camcorder and edit them and Put them on to DVD???

Generally most Programs that Claim to do all this Stuff will not do any of it Very Good unless you are willing to spend a Pretty Penny on Some Good Captureing/Editing/Encodeing/DVD Authoring Software Like Vegas Video 6/DVD Architect 3,...

Luckilly I have Just Run across a Pretty Good editor that will do everything that you need to do Includeing Captureing Video From your DV Camcorder and Converting to DVD Format and this Program is fairly easy to use as Far as Video editing programs go and it also has about 800mb of extra DVD Menu"s and Styles Templates that will have when makeing your Creative MasterPiece and Best of all this program is Quite Cheap at about $49 compared to about $700 for something like Vegas Video 6/DVD Architect...

This Program is Called "MagiX Movie Editor Pro v10.0" and Can be bought on-Line for $49 or you can order a Version of CD-Rom for $56 which also has a Few More Features than the E-Version and it is Pretty Much the Only program you would need accept maybe a couple of Freeware Utilities.....

You can check out the Program here:
