AV2dvd help: Application not loaded?

I did a quick search and didn't find exactly what I am looking for so here goes:
I am trying to convert an AVI file, 42 minutes long
624 x 352, 60118 Frames, 23.976 Frames/Sec, 142 KB/Sec, Unknown Format
MPEG Layer-3,272 kBit/s, 48,000 Hz, Stereo
File name indicates the source was hdtv.

I think maybe I need some kind of AC3 codec? It created an MP3 file and then stalled. What was supposed to load?

Basically I have some downloaded television clips that I want to put onto DVD (two clips per disc?) and want to know any tips for doing so.)

the only codecs i got installed on my pc are K-Lite MEGA pack from http://www.free-codecs.com it has the lot!

also not sure with HDTV file in avi2dvd never tried it?

Installed the Klite codecs, still getting an error saying "Can't execute application" when it trys to convert the audio...

uninstall the app fully then reload it!

it was the MEGA pack you got yes? as there is about 3 types!

also film machine is the same type app try that after!
