ok i want to back up goofdfellas it has A one side and B on the other side how would i back up a movie like this ?

the same way you do one disc normally.
What programs do you have?
what are your pc stats?
what media are you using?
is the media you are using double sided like the dvd disc or did you want it put on 2 single discs?

can i use 1 a one sided dvd-r ? instead of using 2 single dvd-r's ?

im i gonna have to burn side a first and then turn dvd to side b or will it burn the whole dvd with out me needing to open the dvd drive?

i use DVD Decrypter and shrink...i know this is off the topic is it true theres no more updates for DVD Decrypter and shrink ? ..i been reading in forums that no and yes ..i havent been in here for awhile just wanted to know sup ...?

there are no more for decrypter!!!!!

you can use a double sided disc.Shrink will handle it , but i personally dont recommend double sided discs as they are really fragile, and scratch very easily

Thats correct
Some people have had good success with DVDFab Decrypter(free)it's supposed to work with the newer encryptions.I haven't tried it myself, because I use AnyDVD.With AnyDVD all apps will work like a newly updated app.

Now as to your question....Are you asking how to join a "flipper"(two sided disc)to burn on one dvd5 disc?
You need to rip each side to its own folder,then you can use DVD Shrink to join both folders.Have a look at this guide.

You wont have the menu function using this method however.
