im getting cyclic redundancy error on decrypter \shrink but on dvd rescue it failed just before the burn, most probably a bad disc and never downloaded the most recent version of decrypter.
any ideas appreciated

you need the newest version of Decrypter, that CRC error is probably copy protection (unless you can see that the disc is all f-ed up).
