The latest and last version of Shrink is 3.2.0.15. The author stopped updating it some time ago - he now works for Nero (so I've heard).
Is Constantine a movie or a game?
Exactly what error message are you getting? And is it coming during the rip phase, encoding phase or burn phase?
If it stops at 20% during the rip phase, try cleaning it (even if it looks clean to you). Errors like this are usually caused by the reading device not being able to pull info off the disc. Dirty disc, scratched disc, bad pressing.
If coming during the burn phase, probably media related. Get better quality blanks.

yea its the movie Constantine, its the error in Shrink that says the disc may be dirty and have scratches, i clean it but still nothing...its stoping in the analyzing section at 37%
when using decrypter it stops at 19-20%

Might be a bad press. Exchange it for another and see if you get the same message.

could be copy protection. I haven't heard anything about this movie yet so I won't rule that one out. Do you have AnyDVD or DVD43? Try either one of those, but not both at the same time because they fight each other. AnyDVD has a 21 day free trial and DVD43 is free. They just run in the background and get rid of encryptions.

I'm with the rest here there is nothing special about the encryption with this movie so I would guess you have a bad pressed copy. It wouldn't be the first time this has happened and I am pretty sure it won't be the last. Try a different copy :-)

I also have a copy... no issues here no special encryptions on that one. Sounds like bad press. Do you know that 15-30 percent of all dvd's can be considered a bad press?? I was reading that they actually throw out 20 percent of the disks they make...

Just my 2 cents. I read another thread where someone was able to rip Constantine using only Shrink. I didn't bother to try it alone, since I've become accustomed to ripping with Decrypter in ISO mode and then going to Shrink. I have just completed a rip in Shrink. Hasn't been updated and still formidable. Go figure.

I reauthored in shrink and burned with decrypter. No problems. Just like the old days!!
I was so ugly when I was a kid, my parents used to take me everywhere just so they wouldn't have to kiss me goodbye.

@Milton007 - yup, i was one who said Shrink alone can do this film. in which you're also right that Decrypter can do it just as easily..
