I bought some DL DVD+R's they are Dynex brand(ritek). And none of the burns take, they all skip or freeze. So, i'm wondering, will a place like best buy let me return them? Or am i screwed because i've written on them already.

I would say, don't take no for an answer.
Especially at high volume places like BB, they really don't have any good reason not to, especially if the media is just not working.

If the customer service rep is not agreeable, stick to your guns and politely but firmly ask to speak with a manager.

Failing that, try a different store, because when I was out doing the price-matching deal with some Fuji MIJ's between BB and CC, last fall, every store's attitude in doing the deal was different.

I returned media to Best Buy that I only paid 39.00 for 100 and I insisted they replace it with another brand that worked. 100 disc for 100 discs. They gave me 100 Sonys that retailed for 79.00.
