It sounds stupid but seeing as I'm a newbie I've gotta ask..

If I've downloaded an ISO (for a game I already own etc..) that I want to run from a HD using USB extreme, do I have to burn the ISO to DVD first, then decrypt it to get an MDS file, or can I just put it straight onto a HD?

I've read a few FAQs and they say that when backing up a game onto DVD with DVD Decrypter you use the MDS file for burning rather than the ISO. This is why I'm confused.

Apologies if this is a bit of a stupid question and also if it's posted in the wrong place.

If anyone could help me out it would be great! :o)

You could also try WinHIP it's alot faster, if your trying to install a backup you will have to use a fliptop\slide card (or slim tool if it's a slim ps2) b4 you can convert it to the hdd.

(If you have never used WinHIP b4 all you need to do is download it then plug the hdd into your pc and load up WinHIP then transfer the game image insted of burning to disc)

aye aye man
