I have a client who wants to show clips, with sound from a movie, "Evita", which she owns on DVD, at a presentation.

I am fully setup to edit DV with a matrox/premiere setup and sony pd-170.

I want to capture certain segments of the movie in miniDV.

How do I get the movie unprotected so I can capture it on my camera and then edit.

I know there are other ways, but for me if i can just record to DV I am home free.

What kind of software will copy the original DVD to another DVD in a state where it can be recorded to miniDV without the copy protection?

I know this is probably a very stupid question, and yes I have searched the forum, but am still confused.

Rip the dvd to your hard drive with DVD Decrypter

Or AnyDVD but it doesn't well with XP and will caused problems.(XP)

is this a stated fact or is it just with you.I have seen you post this exact quote atleast 3 times in the forum.Would you like to elaborate a bit more on exactly what your issues are with this program by opening your own thread rather than spouting off topic comments on a thread that wasnt even started by you.

loveya I have a couple of computers with XP and AnyDVD with no trouble at all. One is the home edition and the other Professional
