@shannon81 - in addition to mort81,s reply -
Quote: Nero API version: 6.3.1.11
- too old, latest is 6.6.0.15
Quote: Physical memory : 254MB (260096kB)
Free physical memory: 43MB (44944kB)
Memory in use : 82 %
- 256MB is not sufficient for Windows XP, and no good trying to do DVD work on top. 'fraid you need to buy more memory
Quote: Last possible write address on media: 2295103 (510:01.28, 4482MB)
Last address to be written: 2286111 (508:01.36, 4465MB)
- you're burning too close to outer edge of discs. If you use DVD Shrink, set target size in Shrink's preferences to 4300MB thus avoiding outer edge of discs and not sacrificing much space
Quote: Sense Key: 0x03 (KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR)
Write error
- splat!
Quote: Burn process failed at 12x (16,620 KB/s)
- OMG slow it down, try 4x

Thankx very much creaky and mort81, I did everything you said except for adding memory and when I uninstalled the primary and secondary IDE Drivers, the Primary IDE Channel was:
Device 0:
Transfer Mode: DMA if available
Current Transfer Mode: Ultra DMA Mode 5
Device 1:
Transfer Mode: DMA if available
Current Transfer Mode: Not applicable
Secondary IDE Channel:
Device 0
Transfer Mode: PIO Only
Current Transfer Mode: PIO Mode
Device 1
Transfer Mode: PIO Only
Current Transfer Mode: PIO Mode
For some reason, when the Secondary was uninstalled it didn't go to DMA if applicable, so is that okay saying PIO Only or it needs to be changed to DMA

no worries, try this method to get the DMA fixed again (be VERY careful with Regedit, follow only what you see here, you can hose the registry otherwise) -
Quote: Run REGEDIT. Go to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
It has subkeys like 0000, 0001, 0002, etc. Normally 0001 is the primary IDE channel, 0002 the secondary, but other numbers can occur under certain circumstances. You have to go through these subkeys and check the DriverDesc value until you find the proper IDE channel.
Delete MasterIdDataChecksum or SlaveIdDataChecksum, depending on whether the device in question is attached as master or slave, but it can't actually hurt to delete both. Reboot. The drive DMA capabilities will be redetected.
Open Device Manager again and check whether the device is now actually using DMA mode. If so, congratulations, you've made it (at least until the next time Windows disables DMA).
