hmm... HD advance. requires an IDE hard drive.. Hard drives, belong in computers generally..
Hypothetically is it possible to dissemble a PS2, leaving only the interior exposed...... say I had an extra 120 gig hard drive inside my comp. and i had HD advance, wouldnt it be possible to mount a PS2s guts (motherboard n crap) somewhere inside the case of a computer? Like if i had an extra, extra huge ATX case or something? i really don't know if this is considered to be illegal or not, but i think its a heck of a good idea. i can just picture it.and the case could be modified with an avaliable dvd drive port for the PS2. the only things stopping this from happenin could be the fact that PS2 motherboards arent suitable for ATX cases, and maybe a power issue, but i'm sure that could be modified..
dam... just imagine it, that'd really be close to a supercomputer lol. Just ventilate that sum bittch with numerous fans and purchase a better power supply for it. oh yeh, and the case would need to be modified for the PS2 joysticks.. just a thought.
Hey listen, i'm nothing, and you're nothing, so lets just keep it like that, k?

how's this for a thought: if you where to try this, i'd call the Asylum and request they'd bring you a straightjacket, size extra crazy...
Why the hell would you want to mount your ps2 next to your pc? it's not asif it would be possible to actually connect the 2, so why even bother?

Maybe i didn't state the idea blatant enough.
I mentioned nothing about putting it NEXT to my PC, just thought i'd be a good idea to have a PC/PS2 combo integration. A PS2s components mounted inside of some specially ordered case big enough for two motherboards, Specs designed by the customer. perhaps with HD advance installed on a dedicated hard drive for the PC PS2(Slave), connected to the Primary (PC).
Easy transferration of ISOS, you'd be able to play PS2 with quick access, aside from already having a powerful video card and processor to play PC games as well.
call me insane but i'd thing i'd be a magnum opus.
But then again, i belong in an Asylum so wheres my one-way ticket?

Dude, if you get it to work, you would be considered a (mad) genius, but i doubt it can be done as easy as that, there will be enough problems, but hey, it's your stuff, mess aorund, and if it works, post some specs/pictures here.
