Stuck ripping LOTR special edition...

I own all of the LOTR movies in special edition. DVD Decrypter has never failed me...until now. I get to 11% of the first dvd then it locks up. Is there something that I am doing wrong?

I have 1 ghz CPU, over 600Megs ram, vid card with 64 megs on board and 15 gigs free on hard drive. The only thing I can think of is that I am missing some settings somewhere.

Please help. I need to DivX them all so I can combine them all into one single film.

15gbs that is not enough room to store the double disk edition of just one of the movies I have don all three the first two in box sets if you anly have 15g left I believe you are using space that is reserved for nore important things system recovery and junk but each disk is 7+gb you just need to deep clean and then de-frag. hopefully it works 4 you

well I was planning on ripping the first disk of the first movie then DivX it. Then I would delete the .VOB files and rip disk 2 of the first movie and so on. Once I have all the DivX portions created I can Media Join them into one huge movie....in theory.

maybe the original is messed up. Clean it up and give it another try. While 15GB is pushing the limits with our line of work, it shouldn't fail at 11% into the rip unless you have a messed up disc or you are using outdated software (Decrypter is at 3.5.4).
