i had a lot of vhs tapes that i converted to dvd-r. how do i take something off of one dvd-r and something off another dvd-r and put it on the same one?

i have a ILO recorder. i use dvd shrink for all my movies. i tried it for this but it saids "invalid disc structure". i tried "dvd clone" and it came up but i still couldn't figure out how to do what i want to do.

rip the chunks of movies you want with DVD Shrink, then use reauthor mode to put them together. If you try to add VOB files (copy and paste) to a folder that already contains VOBs, you will have an invalid structure.

can you rip with DVD Decrypter? Try that in ISO mode (Mode-->ISO-->Read) just to keep it as one file.

If that doesn't work, copy the files and paste them into a folder on your hard drive. Then download IFOEdit and hit Open, find your first IFO file and click Get VTS Sectors. If you have no IFO files (which would cause this problem also) click Create IFOs, find the first VOB file and make sure the box is checked that says same as source. Click OK and it should correct the DVD Structure.

If you don't even have VOB files tell us what the files are that you have.
