ok so i have a bunch of .mov files when i try to play them quicktime says it is missing software needed to play them when i try to open it up a second time it says it needs a certain compressor and plays sound but no video any idea how i can burn these to dvd video??? the .mov converter im using gives me the same error about the software and stuff??? thanks again for any help you might be able to offer.

yea i tried that link and the thing is i dont have a problem converting...im pretty sure i can do that its just the converter shows no video...does this mean when i burn to dvd ill get no video??? i guess the only way to find out is to waste a dvd >_<
naw, don't need to waste a disc. you can always play back the converted VOB files thru various software instead to check it's ok. I for one use PowerDVD, but there are others..
