My Burner Disconnects itself? Help please?

Hi, I have been burning DVD's using DVDshrink and Nero for quite some time now and recently my burner has been giving me some weird errors and with Nero I get an error and my burn process fails. My burner is an external MadDog Dominator 7in1...The error I get is:

I have noticed that my burner sometimes seems as if it temporarily is unrecognized by my computer. This also gives me errors while ripping movies too. It seems like the error agrees with that.


I have the rest of the log to if it matters to anyone?

make sure all cables are connected firmly and your jumper settings are correct for master or slave, whichever one it is.

Could also be power problem. Try close down hardwares and softwares that consume significant amount of power (e.g. firewall, other external devices) while burning, burn at lower speed (e.g. 2-4x), set burn priority in Nero to high, and do not do multi-task.
