To install doom on your psp, you need to donwload it from psphacks.com or insanepsp.com once downloaded, you should have the DOOM.wad file two eboots, and two folders called DOOM and %DOOM install those to doom folders in the gaming folder. and it should work, any more questions on DOOM installion you can PM me, and this is aginst the rules to post off topic george, and yes i am helping you george, even though i am a "computer retard" and installing doom was very easy...
oh and i forgot to mention, your gona need winrar or another extracting tool to get doom extracted

first of all i didnt say ur the retard i said if people would bother to look in the booklet they wouldnt have to post that and where do u get the gaming folder ,last qustion- where would u open it from the psp thanx

hey i've got psp homebrew almost figured out and i have a ton of games. But i dont have a clue what an emulator does. Someone please help me with a web page describing it or a tutorial or just anything lol. THanx in advance

Every console game has a format that it reads for the game, so when developers make a game, it is put into that format, so the console can read it, this is why ps2 game discs cant be read by a xbox, because their two different formats, now over the years hackers have been able to read that format, and make it so other things can read that format , using a program that picks up that format, and makes it readable for that other format, this is an emulator, so if you have a super nintendo emulator, it reads the nintendo format, now once you have an emulator, you can get the roms, and play them using your emu, thats pretty much what an emu is.

No, there is no downgrade. And by better you must mean it can run homebrew? At this point downgrading is not possible, but the scene is moving fast, we'll never know when it could be possible.

ye Insanepsp is far by the greatest hacking site ever as more hacks are invented the more psps are being bought ds: $150
super mario 64 DS: $40
seeing the look on a nintendo fanboy's face when they see that you have every NES/SNES game known to man on your PSP: priceless
there's more to life than nintendo products, for everything else, there is psp homebrew.

you know... not to be a flamer but the same emulators have been available for gameboy advance for some time now. it also has a TV tuner and video converter/watcher. There is a TON of homebrew that's out for GB advance. the DS can do everything a psp can do just smaller screen. because of touch screen, people are trying to make a palm pilot type setup for the DS right now and are getting very close (something the psp wont ever be able to do). I don't think there is a DS forum here so if anyone has it I can provide some links to good sites.
I have the DS also...with homebrew.
nice PSP site Insane.

the hombrew 4 ds sux and ull never be able to go on the internet and ds graphics are jus terrible ds is for 6 year old kids if u already have like an mp3 player and stuff like that ds might do
