I tried the guide and i'm stuck on http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd_page_4.cfm
this page the part where I select the source video. When I click browse and try to open my avi, it says that it cannot be opened or it's unsupported but my avi can open as a audio file not a video one!! It's a movie by the way.. so any suggestions?

Hi lazibratt, welcome to aD,

Without knowing exactly what you've downloaded, I cannot offer too much help.

What I would suggest is that you try another proggy. DivxToDVD will take your file (if it's proper) and automatically turn it into a VOB format ready to fry to disc. The program is excellent and will soon cost $$$$ BUT for right now, it's totally FREE. It is, IMO, better than AVItoDVD.

Let me know what you think, OK ?

Here she be . . . .

It's a torrent and I do have divX to DVD. When I tried using that, it told me this error message: Available disc free 292 MB. Required disc free 2.25GB.- increase free space on destination. I deleted a lot of files already and my available disc free number keeps on getting smaller instead of bigger. and I do have the most updated windows media player.
