Hi everyone. Hope you can help me with this problem. I used to be able to encode and dvd in about 20 to 30 minutes with Srink. Also I could burn a disk with my Pioneer drive at 12x on 8x media. I could burn a dvd in about 30 to 40 minutes. Now it takes an hour to encode and about 30 minutes to burn. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and its the same. any suggestions. Thanks alot

Checked all the settings and they all seem to be ok. burn speed is set to maximum. Burn speed seems to be ok. Burned the last disk at 12x. The encrypting is still very slow. Don' know what else to check. Thanks for your help.

Thank you Fasfrank, I checked the DMA settings and sure enough on the secondary channel it was set to PIO. I changed it and rebooted and it stayed DMA. I will try to Burn a DVD and see if anything changes. Thank you for the very good instructions. Will let you know what happens.
