Can't find V1-3 fliptops anywhere, can I use later versions?

I just found out about fliptops and want to get one, but I can only find V4's and up and I have an original release PS2. It seems the only difference in the versions are the number of screws, so if I can't find the correct version can I just buy a later version and make holes for the last 2 screws? Or would I even need to screw in the other two holes, would the flip top stay on without them? I would rather buy the right version and know I won't have any problems though, so if anyone knows of a reputable site to buy it from I'll use that.

I also need to know the best software and method to use when creating back-ups of my games. As I said i'm new to this and don't know how to do any of this. And one last question, is the Swap Magic 3.6 boot disc the best one to buy or is there a better one?

Thanks for the link, but is there any reason why their's is so much more than other sites? The flip top doesn't even include the Swap Discs. Also does any one know if it is possible to use the later versions on my V1 by putting the two additional holes in? Cause i'd love to get one of the colored shells.
