What kind of a video file are we talking about? Did this come from an original DVD or a downloaded file?

So you ripped the disk to your hard drive and then played it in a DVD software program like Power DVD or WinDVD and you couldn't hear any sound? Is this right?

I don't know? You havent explained the process you used to back up the disk in the first place so it is a little hard to speculate?
The more info you can give the better we can help you. :-)
Sorry my crystal ball is in the pawn shop right now.. LOL Just kiddin with ya, but you need to understand that we can't help you if you arent a little more specific.

I followed the instructions that you posted on your site. I burned to my hard drive, I used shrink and then used decryptor to burn to disc.

I guess that you are not understanding me at all. I always use your website instructions for decryptor and shrink. I'll say it again; video yes, sound no!

Video yes sound no? Maybe thats your problem. Sounds like your ripping the movie without ripping the sound which is always possible since its an option. Have you had any success with other movies? If yes what is different did you unclick or uncheck any boxes? In shrink you can deselect the sound options. Maybe you deselected all the sound or maybe just the 5.1 sound? Try ripping the concert and playing it on your computer with mediaplayer or similar does it play with sound? If yes then use shrink to write the movie to your disk play it does it have sound?

Ok...
Make sure you have audio selected in Shrink as shown here
Also play the file in Shrink to make sure you hear sound there? Just so you don't waste anymore disks write to a RW or backup in file mode with Shrink and then play the files back on your PC to be sure you have sound? Then you can just burn those files with Nero or reload them back in shrink and do it that way again.

Thanks guys, but, I did nothing different from any other disc that I have ripped.... music or otherwise. Do you think that it is possible that this particular disc has some unique rip proof encoding? I questioned bald bear on this (from dvd x copy) and he told me that some discs copy with sound and some don't. But I would expect decryptor to work as it seems to work where all others fail?
