Hi I own both ps2s v7 and v12 or slim as they're known. I've had luck with swap magic 3.6 cd and dvd , but my old model ps2 has a problem with breaker pro. It makes alot of clicking noises and usually will return to the browser screen. But about every 1 out of 25 times it will actually boot my psx backup and seems to work ok. I never had this problem on the slim line. The old ps2 dosent seem to have any problems with ANY type of media JUST breaker pro v 1.1 ntsc.
I've recently ordered game shark lite off of ebay, because on my slim it booted a backup psx disc without any problems. Anyone know why all of the clicking noise for?

Hi luckgh0st Breaker Pro is a CD based programe. The clicking quite often hapens when PS2 is trying 2 read CDs. Even the PSTwo's do it 2 a lesser degree, noise wise. It should have a better boot success rate than 1 in 20 though. Send the disc back for another copy. I have had 2 do this with 2 different copies of SwapMagic 3.6 a they would only boot 1 in 5 times (not good enough), the machines in question had new lasers in them.

I'm looking for my recipt right now. I'm not sure what their warranty
policy is but I got it from consolepoint.com and it only took 2 days to get her too. I just don't understand why breaker pro acts up while psx cds don't.
