I have been successful in using DVD shrink software in creating ISO files and then burning with Sonic or Nero software----to back up my DVD movies. Recently I have 2 DVDs that I created ISO files, but when I try to burn using Sonic it keeps ejecting my blank DVD saying to insert a blank DVD. When I burn with Nero, the DVD is unreadable by Windows media player, in fact It cannot be seen in the outlook directory. There appears to be something gone wrong during the DVD shrink process,

Any suggestions???

I think the problem is in the discs, I've used Shrink a ton of times and it has never failed me like this. Try different media.

Another thing to try is have Shrink burn the ISO automatically with DVD Decrypter.

Appreciate the reply, I did try several different types of Blank disc's (different manufacturers). I tried DVD decryptor to burn the ISO and received an illegal file format. I dont have the original DVD's at this time but probably something went wrong with the original decryption with Shrink. I plan to get those original DVDs back and try decryption with DVD Decryptor. All I have are useless ISO files at this time.

yeah, maybe it was a bad rip. You're not multitasking are you?

No multitasking. But my friend told me just a bit ago that he had the same problem. He went back to shrink and reauthored with just the movie part without the other stuff (trailors, menu, etc) and this fixed the problem. Maybe something corrupted in that part or some special encryption.

I suppose that's possible, but usually encryption will stop you from ripping the movie. I guess it's always a possibility though.....

What movie was this BTW?
