Can someone please clarify something for me.
1. What are the advantages of not upgrading PSP firmware to 2.0 ?
2. what are the advantages of having a lower version of firmware?
can i still do lots of things with lower version of the firmware ?

Well I would do it now for 100 Bucks because there is a downgrader out so I could go right back to 1.50.

if you open the EBOOT (for 1.5) and add MSTK to the line of code you can get a 1.0 EBOOT file, STill playing with it though.
The line of code is with in the first four lines, and is after all
that 00TITLE_01TITLE_o2TITLE....ect. Compare to the code in ver 2.0
to find the exact place to put MSTK. I beleive you put it in right before the command UPDATEOOOOOOOVER1.0........

Hay how do you get a full dump of a game if you don't have it?
Can you download it? I tryed searching for the iso, but I only
found emulators and ripp kits. any sugjestion?

Alright Monkolous, here's what i posted before on a differnt forum topic.

Download the torrent and use a bittorrent program (eg BitComet) and run the torrent file to download.
Most of them you get from torrents come in RAR archives. A RAR file is JUAT AN ARCHIVE, like zip, ace and 7z files.
Get WinRAR or WInAce and unzip/extract the archive. In it there should be an ISO file. Put the ISO file on your Mem Stick, where your ISO Booter tells you where to put it (I use UMD EMulator, but some of you can use fastloader or hook or whatever).

i have psp 1.5 but im trying to change it too 2.0 which i can do but then i want to change it back to 1.5 how do i do that

to upgrade you get the 2.0 upgrade at psp-hacks.com put it in your PSP/Game/Update folder and just boot it up.
Make sure power is plugged in dont remove shit during update.
Thats the answer to your question, however it is possible to play gta without upgrading to 2.0
You can play you backup gta(iso) on a 1.5
You will need to get mph loader.
That you can find at psp-hacks.com

Hey troy ive made theupdate folder in side games folder and things. When you turn on psp where do u go to find the 1.5 firmware.
Currently my Psp is in version 2 and i got it from australia so i think its PAL.

ive got the 1.5 eboot in update folder in games on psp memory stik
when i turn on psp and go in games and clik memory stick it says corrupted data. Why is this and how do i get it to downgrade

hi there iam very new to this and i need your expert help. i got a psp 1.5 version is this wat is the best version, how do i get the games download from where? many of people said this is the best verison but surly the 2.6 should be the best as it new? HELP
