I would like to start off by saying you have a great amount of information here and these forums have been very helpful.

I am new to creating DVD's and figured this would be the best place to post about my problem.

I have created a music video using Vegas 6. If I burn a DVD using Nerovision is plays with no problem in my DVD player or computer. If I burn it using DVDA3 it won?t play in my DVD player and only sometimes play in my computer.

I really want to use DVDA3 because it looks so much more professional.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well it looks like I figured out my problem. I switched to Verbatim DVD-R's and DVDA3 works great. I was using Memorex DVD-R's. So it seems that different programs like different media.

This also shows that Nero is just better at burning than Vegas6.. Couldn't you create your DVD and save it to the hard drive with Vegas6 and then just burn the finished project with Nero?

That is what I did for the Nero burns. Vegas saves a file that you bring into Nero or DVDA. I really like how much control you have using DVD Architect 3.0. You can make very professional looking DVD?s with DVDA. You might be able to do that with Nero, but it didn?t look like that to me. Nero looks very basic in menu design. I did like how easy it was to make a DVD with Nero.

My goal is to film bands in a local recording studio and edit all the tape into a music video for the bands. This way they have a something to take home other than the CD of the music.

I am hoping to make a couple of extra bucks on the side doing it also.
